Kellie Martin is the American actor and director of films, is popularly known for her roles for her role as Christy Huddleston in the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the show about family Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Additionally, she's well-known as the main character on The Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin is born to a department store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her professional career in acting when she was seven, when her aunt who served as an nanny for Michael Landon's children helped Martin land a role in 1982 series "Father Murphy". When she graduated of Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness with roles that she was able to land on the small and large screen. Martin, who is an actress in addition to a gifted photographer and dancer, has been in the business for over twenty years. Martin is the mom of two, and also the official spokesperson for Lupus. After her 19 year old sister's passing, Martin has worked to raise awareness about the condition.
